Details revealed for Wisconsin MBB summer trip to France

It was reported back in May that the Wisconsin men’s basketball team is taking a trip to France in August. Now, the team has revealed what the itinerary is going to be for the trip per a press release from uwbadgers.com.

The trip is taking place from Aug. 7-17. There will be 10 extra practices and 4 games played there as well. Wisconsin is going to be touring 3 areas while they’re in France. The Badgers will start off in Paris, before heading to Lyon, and finally ending the trip in Southern France. The team will not only be playing games in each of those areas, but will go sightseeing. The Eiffel Tower, Normandy, Old Town Lyon, Medieval village of Perougues, Monte Carlo, and beach time on the French Riviera are all activities that the team has planned.

Who the Badgers will be playing hasn’t been announced yet. Here is the full schedule for the team’s trip:

Paris: Aug. 7-10

  • Game 1: Aug. 10 (1 p.m. ET)

Lyon: Aug. 11-13

  • Game 2: Aug. 12 (1 p.m. ET)
  • Game 3: Aug. 13 (1 p.m. ET)

Southern France: Aug. 14-17

  • Game 4: Aug. 15 (11 a.m. ET)
