Drew Brees plays Monday night and is only 3 TD passes away from passing Peyton Manning for most all time

From 1997-2000, Drew Brees dominated at Purdue. He finished with over 11,000 yards passing and finished in the top four of Heisman Trophy voting his junior and senior seasons.

Again, Brees dominated. There’s no disputing that.

And since moving to the NFL, he’s dominated some more. So much so that he is only three touchdown passes away from becoming the all-time leader in the sport’s history. Who will Brees pass once he inevitably hits the record?

You couldn’t imagine a better time to break the record! Unless, of course, you’re a Colts fan:

This tweet is a pretty cool one, showing Brees as he’s aged since he got into the NFL. It goes to show not just his dominance, but the longevity of such a phenomenal career to this point.

And, he’s not done yet.

It should be noted that Manning has 539 touchdowns passing. Brees is at 537. Also, Tom Brady is at 538.

Brady is still going strong in New England. And, he plans to play until he’s 45-years-old. At least, that’s what he says. We could see Brees and Brady going back-and-forth with each other for the next couple years. That shouldn’t surprise anybody.
