Dylan McCaffrey discusses Michigan’s two-QB system: ‘I obviously like it’

Dylan McCaffrey is loving the current system for Michigan’s offense.
The junior quarterback entered the season as the backup to Shea Patterson, and there’s no questioning the arrangement of the depth chart. Patterson has all the tools and is the leader on offense. However, McCaffrey can be effective when used in various spots.
In the season opener, McCaffrey carried the ball eight times and was effective with 42 yards and a touchdown. He also went 2-for-2 for 17 yards as a passer.

His performance is not going to provide any sort of shakeup with Patterson entrenched as the starter, but McCaffrey can play a versatile role in the offense. When discussing the system Tuesday, McCaffrey said he enjoys the playing time and believes it can continue being a versatile play for the Wolverines.
