The Chase Young situation caught the college football world by storm Friday morning.

It became known — thanks to Young himself — that an issue with the NCAA surfaced because of a loan he took and repaid in 2018. It involved a family friend and he reportedly took the loan to help pay his girlfriend’s way to the Rose Bowl so that she could watch him play.

Rumors have surfaced about how long Young may be suspended for, but one thing is for sure: Young is in trouble. And, not many people are siding with the NCAA here.

Take ESPN CFB analyst Emmanuel Acho as one of those people:

Acho calls the NCAA “utterly ridiculous” for this and mentions how Urban Meyer — the coach at Ohio State in 2018 — mishandled sexual conduct and only got a three-game suspension.

Acho’s got his opinion on the matter. What’s yours?
