ESPN’s SP+ predicts every B1G bowl game

Believe it or not, college football fans, but we are just a few short weeks away from the end of another football season!
Over the weekend, the final games of the regular season came to a close. The College Football Playoff Committee officially set the final four slate Sunday, selecting Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Notre Dame as the participants this season.
Elsewhere in the B1G, Indiana was snubbed by the Committee from the New Year’s Six slate and then found themselves in the Outback Bowl against an SEC opponent. Iowa and Northwestern will also face SEC foes while Wisconsin gets an ACC opponent.

In the Playoff, many analysts are picking Clemson to beat Ohio State in a rematch of last season’s semifinal that the Tigers won in a controversial fashion. While the Tigers may have looked better with a more complete resume this season, the game is still expected to be close.
ESPN’s SP+ is predicting this year’s semifinal to come down to one possession in what should be a nail-biter and instant classic. Here is how the SP+ is predicting that showdown and the four non-Playoff B1G bowls:
- Wisconsin 33, Wake Forest 18
- Iowa 34, Missouri 15
- Auburn 24, Northwestern 23
- Clemson 31, Ohio State 29
- Indiana 36, Ole Miss 29
Let’s see if these picks hold up!
