The Buckeyes should be feeling good following Saturday’s win over TCU.

Ohio State started slow when taking on the Horned Frogs in the big matchup, but the Buckeyes turned it on in the second half to win 40-28. It was definitely a statement win for OSU in the last game of Urban Meyer’s three-game suspension.

Moving forward, Ohio State looks to be one of the best teams in the country. The Buckeyes were ranked No. 3 on ESPN’s updated FPI rankings and were the highest ranked B1G team on the list. ESPN’s FPI also updated Ohio State’s projected win total, and the FPI actually projects the Buckeyes will be favored in every game but one.

According to the FPI, OSU is given more than a 90% chance to win six of its remaining nine games and favors the Buckeyes in all but one game. The lone game that is projected to give Ohio State problems is a Sept. 29 road trip to take on Penn State. The FPI currently gives the Buckeyes a 49.5% chance of coming away with a win against the Nittany Lions.

That projection certainly could change ahead of the matchup, but it is worth noting Penn State checked in at No. 4 on the updated FPI. Regardless of the outcome, Sept. 29 should be a fun game between two electric teams.
