While the Michigan Wolverines have yet to name a starting quarterback, at least they know what quarterback they will be facing when they take on the Florida Gators this Saturday down in Texas.

Florida head coach Jim McElwain named redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks as the leader of the Florida offense when it takes on Michigan.

McElwain said Franks has done a good job this fall camp and deserves to start against the Wolverines.

The Michigan game will be Franks’ first collegiate start. And it looks like he has an uphill battle to face when he takes the field against the Wolverines because the Gators have suspended their top running back and wide receiver.
