Last year, Saquon Barkley took the NFL by storm. People knew he was great in college. People assumed he’d be great in the NFL, too.

And, he was. He led all NFL rookies in 2018 in total yards from scrimmage.

Here we are in 2019. The NFL’s regular season came to a close Sunday night. Which rookie led the league in total yards this year?

Miles Sanders, another former Penn State running back.

Sanders finishes 2019 with 1,641 all-purpose yards (818 rushing, 509 receiving, 314 kickoff return). Being a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, the former Nittany Lion will get a crack at making an impact in the NFL Playoffs this year, too.

Maybe even more people will get to know what Sanders is all about.
