Here we go again? Nebraska fans uneasy with Scott Frost after blowing double-digit lead in the first half

Through the first 30 minutes of the 2022 college football season, Nebraska has already taken its fans on a wild ride. After busting out of the gates with a hot start, Northwestern has clawed back for the halftime lead.

Early on, it was all quarterback Casey Thompson and the Huskers with Thompson accounting for 2 touchdowns. He dropped in a beautifully placed ball for a touchdown on the opening drive and later punched in a short rushing score for a 14-3 lead.

Unfortunately, there have been issues on both sides of the ball that allowed Northwestern to get back into the game. A fumble by the offense, multiple missed assignments by the defense and missed tackles have allowed the Wildcats to put up 14 unanswered points for a 17-14 lead into the break.

There is still one-half of action to be played so anything can happen, but the first half has provided an eery feeling for fans who witnessed Nebraska in 2021:
