USA Today released updated salaries for FBS coaches, including some of the oddest contract stipulations for coaches, on Wednesday.

The only Big Ten coach mention in the article with unique bonuses was Purdue coach Jeff Brohm. The first-year head coach receives a $45,00 special bonus if his recruiting classes are ranked in the top 25 by 247 Sports, ESPN or Rivals within 10 days of signing day.

However right now, it appears Brohm will struggle to cash in on that bonus for his 2018 recruiting class:

His 2018 recruiting class, for what it’s worth, was ranked No. 51 by 247 Sports, No. 43 by Rivals and outside ESPN’s top 40 as of late last week.

Brohm is the 31st-highest paid coach in college football, making $3.333 million this season with a $15.844 million buyout. The former Western Kentucky head coach is 3-4 in his first season with Purdue.

The Boilermakers face Nebraska at home this Saturday with kickoff set for 6:30 p.m.
