What Jeff Brohm said after Purdue’s loss to Northwestern

Purdue had a chance to start the year 1-0 with a huge win over Northwestern. Unfortunately for the Boilermakers, nine penalties and three turnovers were costly in a 31-27 loss to the Wildcats.

There were some positives from the game, as freshman receiver Rondale Moore had a sensational performance, showing the country just how electric he can be. Senior quarterback David Blough also helped dig the Boilers out of a late hole.

But this one leaves a bad taste in the mouth of Purdue, especially losing on a boneheaded penalty. Here’s what head coach Jeff Brohm had to say after the loss:
