JJ McCarthy just threw one pass he will want back, especially if Michigan’s offense cannot get going in the Fiesta Bowl.

On the second drive of the game, McCarthy was targeting Ronnie Bell near the sideline. TCU’s coverage was fantastic with Bell’s defender beating the receiver back to the ball.

From there, Bud Clark was open down the sideline for a 41-yard return. The score puts the Horned Frogs up early in the game, 7-0.

It is far from a hot start for Wolverines. Since Donovan Edwards ripped off a huge run to open the game, Michigan has missed out on points on the opening drive of the game followed with the pick-6.

Everyone knows Michigan has been a second-half team this season, but this is not a great start at all for Jim Harbaugh’s squad. We’ll see if the Wolverines wake up and find their footing moving forward.
