Justin Fields had a harsh assessment of The Game rivalry after a big win by Ohio State.

Fields was a newcomer to the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry this year, but he left a big mark. Despite getting dinged up with a knee injury, Fields returned to action and was spectacular all afternoon.

For the game, Fields completed 14-of-25 passes for 302 yards and four touchdowns. He added 25 yards rushing and did not turn the ball over in the 56-27 win.

After the game, Fields was asked about the rivalry series. He was quite frank, simply saying it just seems to mean more for Ohio State.

Jeremy Birmingham with Lettermen Row shared Fields’ comments:

Currently, it’s hard to disagree with that assessment. The Buckeyes have won eight straight in the rivalry, including the last two by ridiculous scoring margins.
