Lane Kiffin offered up an interesting comparison for the B1G and SEC on Monday.
Though SEC Media Days are getting kicked off, those in attendance cannot avoid the ongoing realignment with USC and UCLA recently announcing plans to join the B1G. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey also took a somewhat subtle shot at the B1G and their soon-to-be widespread conference landscape.
During his turn at the podium, Kiffin also addressed USC and UCLA heading to the B1G and Texas and Oklahoma deciding to join the SEC. According to Kiffin, he doesn’t see “a huge jump going into the Big Ten.” On the other hand, the SEC is “a whole different animal.”
