The letter from Nebraska parents to B1G commissioner Kevin Warren was recently finalized and has been hand-delivered to the league office. A parent of a Huskers offensive lineman has photographic evidence.

Parents of Nebraska football players were one of five groups in the B1G to draft a letter for Warren, asking him to reconsider the decision to cancel the fall football season in 2020. The other four schools, so far, are Iowa, Ohio State, Penn State and Michigan.

On Tuesday, Gene Benhart, the father of Nebraska offensive lineman Bryce Benhart, proved that the letter has been hand-delivered to the conference office.

The parents of Iowa football players have also hand-delivered a letter to the B1G since the league made the decision to cancel the football season.

And this won’t be the last time the B1G office sees frustrated parents. Friday, Randy Wade, the father of Ohio State cornerback Shaun Wade, plans to make the trip to Chicago to get answers from Warren. Other Buckeye parents, as well as some Iowa parents, also plan to be there.
