Maryland-Ohio State is off and running, and the Terrapins are in the middle of a hot start against the Buckeyes. While both teams try to figure out the best way forward, the action was briefly delayed in the first quarter.
The reason for that delay came via a drone that was spotted near the playing area per the on-field official and FOX broadcast booth.
“There is a drone in the playing area, players need to return to their sideline,” said the official
“This is the first time we’ve dealt with this, apparently there is a drone,” said Joel Klatt.
“Well if the drone is over the playing area, they have to stop,” said Gus Johnson.
“It is not ours if you are wondering,” Klatt responded.

So far, the Terrapins have started off with an early touchdown after getting great field position against the Buckeyes. Ohio State was also forced into another early punt, so we will see how Ryan Day’s team responds with an early hole.
