Maryland is undoubtedly going to have a new look this season.

2019 will be different. There is a new head coach. There is a new starting QB — Josh Jackson, a transfer from Virginia Tech — and just a new vibe.

Jackson surely has talent, otherwise he wouldn’t have won the job. He posted good numbers when healthy at Virginia Tech and if he stays healthy, the Terrapins’ offense may take a step in the right direction.

Jackson believes that this will be the case and that Maryland is going to prove a lot of people wrong:

“This offense has a lot of weapons,” Jackson said. “We have a chance to surprise a lot of people because we’re going to have a great offense.”

Maryland’s 2019 season kicks off at noon against Howard on Saturday, Aug. 31. The game will be televised on BTN.
