Maryland QB Tyrell Pigrome shows off elite moves while being spun around by Purdue defender

Maryland-Purdue are getting into a bit of a dogfight. The game can be seen on BTN.

Purdue opened up the contest with 13 straight points in the first quarter to take an early lead. In the second quarter, however, Maryland responded.

The Terrapins scored on a 21-yard run from running back Javon Leake.

Two plays prior to the Leake touchdown, however, Maryland quarterback Tyrell Pigrome — who started the game due to an injury to Josh Jackson — showed off his running abilities.

Take a look as he got spun around by a defender, but got himself together enough to find a hole and gain 18 yards to help setup the score:

Pigrome is known to be able to run at times, and here, he certainly showed why.
