On Saturday, Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had the stretch heard ’round the world as he dove to convert on a two-point conversion in overtime against Penn State.
With some crazy effort, Penix was ruled in for the conversion by millimeters. It was a controversial play but one that gave the Hoosiers the win and Penix a whole lot of recognition.
Like any big sports moment, the internet got busy and started putting together memes regarding the play. There were many circulating around the internet.

This is a solid choice by Penix. Any Jordan-related meme always provides a nice chuckle, especially ones surrounding Space Jam.
Though these memes and constant retellings of the moment have to be driving the folks in Happy Valley nuts, it’s been a fun time to see an Indiana program that has annually struggled in big moments finally find some success and get some national attention for it.
