Michigan State defensive back Justin White is entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer. White confirmed the news via social media.

The 5-foot-9, 180-pound senior amassed 33 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and an interception during the 3 seasons he played for Michigan State.

The Agoura Hills, CA native originally began his college career at Division II Colorado Mesa University.

Michigan State has posted a 2-6 record this season in the wake of Mel Tucker being fired for allegations of sexual harassment against Brenda Tracy. Those allegations were eventually confirmed in a 73-page report by a university hearing officer.

Michigan State is currently being guided by interim head coach Harlon Barnett. The Spartans have yet to win a game under Barnett, mired in a 6-game losing streak. Michigan State is coming off a 27-12 loss at Minnesota.

Next up for Michigan State is a home contest against Nebraska (5-3) this Saturday, set for 11 a.m. CT (FS1).
