It sounds like Luke Campbell had a rough 2019 season on the injury front.

The offensive lineman for the Spartans managed to appear in 10 games this season. However, he indicated on Instagram Tuesday that he was battling an injury for much of the season.

In his post, Campbell announced that he recently underwent surgery to repair a meniscus and ACL injury that he played on for much of the season. He did not indicate when or how the injury happened, but hopefully he is back to 100% quickly:

According to Campbell’s season statistics, he missed the Illinois, Rutgers, and Maryland games, but he was able to return and play in the Pinstripe Bowl win vs Wake Forest. A junior in 2019, Campbell has appeared in 32 games over his Spartan career.

Hopefully, he is able to have a strong impact for his senior season.
