Nebraska AD Bill Moos: ‘The brand is back’ ahead of visit from College GameDay

It sure looks like Bill Moos gave his stamp of approval to Nebraska’s football program Wednesday.
For many fans, it still feels like the Cornhuskers are looking for their big breakthrough under head coach Scott Frost. After an eight-loss season in 2018, expectations were much higher coming into this season.
Unfortunately, results have been mostly mixed to start in 2019. Nebraska looked far from dominant in Week 1 against South Alabama before blowing a big halftime lead against Colorado in Week 2. And while Frost’s Cornhuskers did take down Illinois last week, it took a 28-point outburst after halftime.

The good news is that Nebraska is currently 3-1 with an unblemished conference record. ESPN’s College GameDay will also be broadcasting from Lincoln in Week 5 for the showdown against Ohio State.
According to Moos, that shows that the Nebraska brand is back with respect for the program growing.
Christopher Heady with The Omaha World-Herald shared Moos’ comments:
Bill Moos on the radio: "We are in year two of the Scott Frost era, we got GameDay coming. What that shows me is the brand is back, respect for us is here."
