There’s no denying that’s a sharp looking set. The classic purple lids and jerseys are definitely one of the favorite looks of the Wildcats. Northwestern has been equally crisp on the field this season.
Northwestern is off to a 4-0 start for the first time since 1996. After having its last two games canceled due to COVID-19, Wisconsin returned last week with a convincing 49-11 win at Michigan.
ESPN analyst Mark Sanchez believes Wisconsin quarterback Graham Mertz will be the main factor in the outcome of the game. It’s up to Pat Fitzgerald’s defense to try and slow down another tough opponent.
Northwestern and Wisconsin has been a toss-up in the last six seasons. Wisconsin leads the all-time series 60-36-5 but it has been 3-3 in the last 6 meetings. It’ll be fascinating to see how this season’s edition plays out in a game with major conference implications.
