Oregon beats out B1G, SEC powerhouses to land 4-star ATH commitment

Oregon went into Ohio and beat out Ohio State and others to land a commitment from an elite ATH prospect.
Brayton Feister is the newest Oregon commitment. Feister has the “ATH” label because he plays both running back and linebacker.
A transfer to Massillon (Ohio) Washington High School for his senior season, Feister is listed as measuring 6-2 and 238 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Feister is rated 4-stars, the No. 7 player in the state of Ohio, No. 9 ATH and No. 133 prospect overall in the Class of 2027.
Feister collected scholarship offers from 35 programs during his recruitment. As one of the top prospects in Ohio, it’s no surprise that Ohio State was one of the programs that pursued Feister.
This wasn’t, however, just a Big Ten battle between Oregon and Ohio State. Feister also took June visits to Cal and Georgia, and both programs had hats on the table for the blue-chip recruit’s commitment announcement live on The Pat McAfee Show.
