When Penn State hosts Auburn in Week 3, it will do so as a near-touchdown favorite.
According to Draft Kings, the Nittany Lions are six-point favorites against the Tigers on Saturday. The total for the game is set at 53 points.
This is arguably the game of the week in college football, as both programs are 2-0 and ranked in the AP Top 25. ESPN’s College GameDay will be in Happy Valley, too.
Penn State and Auburn have met two times previously, with each program winning one game. Penn State won 43-14 in 1996. Auburn won 13-9 in 2003.
The Nittany Lions have picked up wins over Wisconsin and Ball State to start the season. The win over the Badgers was particularly impressive, as it required a tremendous defensive performance on the road in Madison.
Auburn hasn’t faced a Power 5 team yet this year, scoring victories over Akron and Alabama State to start the 2021 season.
Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
