Purdue’s 2020 recruiting class is becoming one to watch.
On Friday, Maliq Carr, the No. 5-rated tight end in the entire class of 2020, announced his commitment (on his birthday) to the Boilermakers:

Rivals, another recruiting site, has Carr pegged as a wide receiver. Regardless, Carr can catch the ball and he is a big prospect at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds. Boilermakers fans need to know that much.

Carr is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 193 overall player in his class and is now the top-ranked player in Purdue’s 2020 class. The entire class can be seen here.
Aside from a scholarship offer from Purdue, Carr holds offers from LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia and others.
