Wisconsin, along with other college football programs across the country, have been in training camp for a couple weeks now.
The 2019 college football regular season begins in just a couple weeks as well and the Badgers have suffered quite a few injuries leading up to the season to this point.

On Thursday, a report came from Badgers camp that wide receiver Danny Davis suffered an injury:
#Badgers lose WR Danny Davis (left foot) today but TE Jake Ferguson could return for limited work Friday. Ferguson had surgery on left thumb for torn ligament. Wearing a splint.

Tight end Jake Ferguson potentially getting back into camp soon certainly helps. However, Davis going down with an injury could be brutal.
Positive news is that Jeff Potrykus doesn’t believe the injury is serious:
They don’t think so but you need to first see how he responds overnight/feels tomorrow.

We’ll continue to monitor any news that breaks regarding Davis, who a season ago, caught 40 passes for 418 yards and 5 TDs.
