Report: Former HS assistant coach in Iowa arrested, charged after threatening official during game

A former assistant football coach at an Iowa high school is facing criminal charges after threatening an official during a game for a missed call. The report comes from WHO TV.
Former Lincoln High School assistant coach Jason Storm was arrested and charged with first-degree harassment after threatening to “f—–g kill” an official who missed a helmet-to-helmet contact play. The referee did not throw a penalty flag on the play, prompting Storm’s outburst during the game.
Storm was booked into the Polk County Jail on Wednesday.
The quarterback suffered the helmet-to-helmet hit, which happens to be Storm’s son. Storm had to be physically restrained from attacking the official during the game.
Storm resigned as an assistant coach after the incident. Reports from WHO TV also has apologized for his actions during the game over the weekend.
