Report: Indiana freshman RB from Missouri enters transfer portal

One school may be perfect for one recruit and it may be a nightmare for another.
Everybody’s situation is different. For some, it takes time to realize that one particular school may not be the perfect fit. For Indiana RB Ivory Winters, he has apparently found that out before his freshman season has even begun:

Winters is a 3-star back from Hayti, Mo. and was in the Class of 2019. Indiana’s top recruit in its class regardless of position for 2019 was a 4-star RB in Sampson James. Perhaps for Winters, the depth chart appeared to be too daunting — although it’s all speculation.

Indiana’s 2019 season kicks off at noon on Saturday, Aug. 31 at home against Ball State. The game will be aired on CBSSN.
