Ohio State’s defense received some good news for the B1G Championship Game.
In last week’s rivalry showdown against Michigan, the Buckeyes were without sophomore cornerback Shaun Wade. Thankfully, it didn’t affect the outcome with Ohio State rolling to a big win.

On Friday, Ryan Day updated Wade’s status and indicated he is good to go for Saturday’s title game vs Wisconsin. According to Lantern Sports, Day indicated Wade was held out last week because he wasn’t 100%, but it will be all hands on deck against the Badgers.
"We held Shaun out because we didn't think he was 100 percent."
Ryan Day on Shaun Wade not playing against Michigan. Wade will be available tomorrow against Wisconsin.
"It's all hands on deck to try to get this thing."

Wade has 24 tackles this season, including three tackles for loss and two sacks. He also has an interception. Hopefully, his presence provides a boost on defense.
