Another year, another loss to Ohio State. That’s the reality for Michigan. It can’t get over the hump.
Many thought it would coming into the season, but in late November, that proved to not be the case. Quarterback Shea Patterson and the Wolverines fell short, losing, 56-27 at home.

The game may not have realistically been a 29-point differential, but the scoreboard is what it is. And that means that Michigan wasn’t close.
Don’t tell Patterson that, though. After the game — and his second straight loss to Ohio State after transferring from Ole Miss — he talked about how he thinks Michigan matches up with Ohio State:
