Purdue will be without Rondale Moore for Week 4.

In what has turned into a bit of an odd story, Moore will not suit up for Saturday’s game against Northwestern. No other details have been provided by the Boilermakers.

Head coach Jeff Brohm has been very coy when discussing the status of Moore all season long. He has not directly said Moore is or is not injured, nor has Brohm provided any indication of when the Boilermakers are planning on Moore being available.

Earlier in the week, Brohm included Moore among a list of players that were going to be game-time decisions. If Moore was indeed a game-time decision, that would appear to rule out any sort of COVID-19 complications.

According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, Moore is battling with a lower-body injury. No other details were reported at this time, but fans will remember Moore missed time in 2019 after a scary knee injury. We will just have to wait and see if Moore’s current status is related or something entirely different.
