Even though the matchup between No. 6 Michigan and Penn State did not have the same hype as a couple of weeks ago, the intensity between the teams was still there. The Wolverines knew they would be in a grind against fellow B1G East foe Penn State.
Michigan allowed Penn State to score 11 points in the fourth quarter to take the 17-14 lead with 5:55 left in the game. Michigan needed a big drive on offense to take the lead back before the clock ran out. Michigan’s offense only needed a six-play, 75-yard to get a much-needed touchdown with 3:29 left in the game.
On the touchdown, tight end Erick All got the big 47-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Cade McNamara. All had been suffering through an ankle injury all week and was not 100% in the game against Penn State. That did not stop All from catching four receptions for 64 yards and a touchdown.
After the game, Harbaugh was brought on to a postgame interview, but he decided to give his moment to All, who was with him. This is the second time that Harbaugh skipped out on the interview as he did it last month in the 32-29 win over Nebraska.
The same sideline reporter, Molly McGrath, was present for both exchanges. At least this time, he did give his player the spotlight, who he complimented for his toughness.
