Trey Palmer is getting recognition for his huge game against Iowa.
In the 1st quarter, Palmer secured an 87-yard TD to open up the scoring. That reception put Palmer just 11 yards shy of the single-season Nebraska record. Stanley Morgan Jr. set the record with 1,004 receiving yards in 2018.
Then, in the 2nd, Palmer scored an 18-yard TD to put Nebraska up 17-0 and secure the single-season record. Palmer is rolling right now, and it will be interesting to see if the Hawkeyes have an answer in the second half.
Here’s how social media reacted to that performance:

Iowa not liking Trey Palmer when he’s angry. He already has five catches for 129 yards and two TDs in a little more than a quarter. Nebraska, 17-0 https://t.co/jIVoxtQ7Sm
