A couple of young Hoosiers will continue to watch camp from the sidelines while dealing with some injuries.
On Monday, Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star reported that a pair of Indiana players have been dinged up, missing some practice time recently. One is defensive back Reese Taylor, who has suffered a hand injury. The other is freshman tight end Gary Cooper, who sounds like he will be out a bit longer with a lower leg injury.
Allen says Taylor will be fine after a bit and Cooer will be sidelined for a few weeks.
A couple injury notes from #iufb practice today:
*Reese Taylor is still out with a hand injury, but Tom Allen says "he'll be OK in time."
*Freshman Gary Cooper has a lower-leg problem that will keep him out "a few weeks."

Injuries are part of the game, but it’s never a good sign. In this case, though, it doesn’t sound like anything too serious for either player. It’s unknown if either will miss any game time this season with the injuries.
