Urban Meyer praises vibe inside Memorial Stadium: ‘Those are as good of fans as there are in America’

Urban Meyer knows a thing or two about the vibe inside Memorial Stadium.
It was 2017 the last time Ohio State traveled to Lincoln to face Nebraska, and Meyer was the man in charge at the time. He led the Buckeyes to a 56-14 win over the Cornhuskers, but a lot has changed since then.
In Scott Frost’s first trip to Columbus in 2018, Nebraska battled Ohio State all the way, falling just short in the 36-31 outcome. Now, Frost and the Huskers have the chance to pull off his first huge upset in front of a home crowd.

Though Meyer is no longer on the sidelines, he understands the difficulties of playing in Lincoln. During a BTN segment Wednesday, he was very complimentary of the vibe around the stadium and Nebraska’s fanbase as a whole:
“We were there a couple years ago, that’s a great environment,” explained Meyer. “Those are as good of fans as there are in America. Ryan Day and I actually had a little chat about that, what it’s gonna be like…that’s gonna be one of the top atmospheres in the B1G.”

Hopefully, the atmosphere causes plenty of problems for the Buckeyes.
