Maryland is off to a roaring start, but at least one projection has the Terrapins on upset alert in Week 3.
Mike Locksley and the Terrapins have won the first two games of the season in resounding fashion, putting up 79 and 63 points in back-to-back weeks. The most impressive part was the 63 points and upset of then-No. 21 Syracuse, a win that vaulted Maryland to No. 21 on the latest AP Poll.
Up next is a road trip to Temple before heading to a bye in Week 4. And while the Owls are likely not as strong as Syracuse, the computer prediction put out by Odds Shark is not a favorable one.

Maybe it is the fact that the Terrapins are hitting the road for the first time, but the computer is predicting Locksley and his squad to take their first loss of the season. After averaging 71 points over the first two weeks, the projection has Maryland losing 34.6-31 on the road:
While it is a disappointing projection, it is just that: a projection. Hopefully, the Terrapins show up prepared and ready to get another win.
