It didn’t take long for former Iowa defensive back Amani Hooker to get adjusted to the NFL game. He’s already turning some heads in preseason action.
Sunday night, the Tennessee Titans hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers in a preseason contest. Midway in the second quarter, Hooker showed off his skills, making a diving interception on an overthrown pass from Mason Rudolph.
Hooker had to cover a lot of ground to make the play, but he was able to haul in the interception while falling to the turf. Below is the highlight-reel pick:

Hooker finished the day with the interception, a pass deflection and three tackles, two of which were solo stops. Pittsburgh did defeat Tennessee 18-6 in the third preseason game of the year.

Hooker was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. That interception is just a sample of what the former Hawkeye brings to the table.
