Nebraska is looking to put a slow first half in the rearview mirror, and the offense has yet to see the ball.

The Cornhuskers started the second half on defense, but that didn’t stop them from getting on the board. Eric Lee started the scoring by grabbing an interception and returning it all the way for a pick-6.

On the ensuing possession, Nebraska’s defense once again forced a stop. This time, it was a punt and electric return by JD Spielman that produced another touchdown.

He made a man miss and was gone for the 76-yard score to stretch Nebraska’s lead. Hopefully, a little bit of breathing room will help the Cornhuskers put the hammer down on this game:
