This was certainly an interesting exchange from the Purdue-Nevada game.

The Boilermakers looked sharp early on and rolled to a 24-7 lead heading into halftime. That lead stayed the same midway through the third quarter when Purdue forced another Nevada punt.

Unfortunately, a miscommunication on the punt return team led to a turnover. One of Rondale Moore’s own teammates impeded him, and the ball bounced off a Purdue helmet before being recovered by Nevada.

The play resulted in a bit of a scrum near the Wolfpack bench with a couple of Boilermakers. One Nevada staffer even got in the face of Kieren Douglas. It looked like the situation may escalate, but the official was having none of that.

He got in the face of the Nevada assistant, visibly scolding him for putting his hands on Douglas:

Hopefully, that will teach him a lesson for getting a bit too amped up.
