It looks like Austin Carr has found his home in the NFL, and the former Wildcat is still making plays through the air.

Carr had a nice career with Northwestern and capped it in impressive fashion with a strong senior season. In 2016, Carr recorded 90 catches for 1,247 yards and 12 TDs. Since then, Carr has settled into the NFL with the New Orleans Saints.

Carr began to carve out playing time during the Saints’ impressive 2018 season, and quarterback Drew Brees is not afraid to trust him. Carr appeared in 14 games and reeled in nine catches for 97 yards and two scores.

Now, he’s gearing up for another year with preseason action. He also continues to break free with good route running. It’s hard to tell who was supposed to cover him on this play because Carr broke free and was wide open for an easy catch and score.

Hopefully, he’ll get even more playing time in 2019:
