Cade Stover solidifies Cotton Bowl plans
Cade Stover is looking to wrap up his Ohio State career on a high note.
On Wednesday, Stover officially confirmed he’s going to be suiting up for his final game as a Buckeye in the Cotton Bowl. He joins a growing list of Buckeyes that also includes star running back TreVeyon Henderson who will be active Friday night.
“Not really,” said Stover on if he would be emotional. “I’m happy, excited for some and excited to go out with these guys one last time to see what we can do… Regardless of whatever the circumstance is, we’re here and we’re going to do everything we can to win this game.”

The biggest domino for Ohio State, Marvin Harrison Jr., is still unconfirmed on the Cotton Bowl and his 2024 plans. Harrison was spotted at bowl practices this week but was only active on an exercise bike during the media viewing portion.
Nevertheless, Brian Hartline was coy about Harrison’s status for the game. Harrison is undoubtedly a major difference-maker, but the Buckeyes are lined up to have plenty of firepower Friday night either way.
