CJ Stroud posts NFL record through first 3 career starts
C.J. Stroud set a record for the most pass attempts without an interception through his first three starts in Sunday’s win.
Stroud has had 121 pass attempts with 0 picks through Week 3. The Houston Texans beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 37-17. Stroud’s team may not have the best record right now, but the former Ohio State quarterback has prioritized not turning the ball over to the defense which is always a good thing.
Stroud has 626 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and no interceptions so far. He finished the day with 280 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. Stroud drew the attention of former Texans player J.J. Watt and Ohio State head coach Ryan Day.

The season hasn’t gone how the Texans have hoped, but Stroud is living up the expectations of the No. 2 overall pick.
Now that the record belongs to Stroud, it will be interesting to see how long he can go without throwing an interception.
Houston faces the Pittsburgh Steelers next Sunday. Kickoff will be at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
