Former Ohio State WR Johnnie Dixon makes tough TD grab on goal line fade
It’s the last day of the NFL preseason, and that means it is the last day for players to make an impression on their respective organizations on why they should make the 53 man roster.
Johnnie Dixon, the former WR for Ohio State, made his case to make the Dallas Cowboys’ roster with this touchdown catch on a goal line fade route.

In Dixon’s 5 years at Ohio State, he had 67 catches for 1,113 yards on 17.1 yards per reception and he had 16 touchdowns plus one rushing touchdown.
More than one Ohio State WR is trying to make a roster as Devin Smith for the Jacksonville Jaguars made a spectacular catch earlier in the game.
Dixon was an undrafted free agent and signed with the Houston Texans in 2019. He spent the 2019 season on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad and missed the 2020 season with an injury.
The NFL’s deadline to cut the roster to 53 is this Tuesday, Aug. 31, at 4:00 ET.
The Dallas Cowboys open the season against the defending Super Bowl Champions on Thursday, Sept, 9 at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
