Recruiting is a never-ending process. Even when a talented player commits to a program, there’s always a chance that he experiences a change of heart and flips his pledge from one school to another.

That doesn’t sound like it will be the case with 5-star quarterback and Ohio State pledge Quinn Ewers.

Ewers, who is ranked as the top overall prospect in the 2022 recruiting class according to 247Sports, recently spoke with Dave Campbell’s Texas Football about his commitment to Ohio State. Nobody else is in the picture.

“It’s all Ohio State,” Ewers said. “They kind of stopped calling.”

Ewers committed to Ohio State back in November 2020 and is scheduled to visit the campus in June with the dead period being lifted by the NCAA. He picked the Buckeyes over offers from nearly 30 other programs.

The Texas native has already thrown for 6,445 yards and 73 touchdowns with just 8 interceptions over the last two seasons at Southlake Carroll High School. He’s also rushed for 701 yards and 12 touchdowns and has completed just under 70% of his career throws.

Ohio State’s 2022 recruiting class currently ranks No. 2 nationally and sits atop the B1G.
