Two Ohio State stars were named Offensive Players of the Game for their performances vs. Minnesota on Thursday night.

Receiver Chris Olave and running back Miyan Williams took home the honor after both made huge impact vs. the Golden Gophers.

Williams was by far the Buckeyes’ most effective runner, carrying the ball nine times for 125 yards and a touchdown. That score came on a 71-yard rush that secured Ohio State’s first points of the game.

Olave put his stamp on this game as well. He caught four passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns, helping the Buckeyes climb back from a halftime deficit.

Olave scored a 61-yard touchdown in the final minutes of the fourth quarter that essentially sealed the win. He was a big reason why quarterback CJ Stroud had a better performance in the second half.

The Buckeyes will have a tough test in Week 2 as they host Oregon at 12 p.m. ET.
