Ohio State men’s basketball recently added another game to its schedule, and will play IUPUI on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. ET. This comes after the Buckeyes had to cancel 2 games due to Covid-19 in December, including 1 home game.

They were supposed to play Kentucky in Las Vegas on Dec. 18 and UT Martin on Dec. 21 at home, but they were eventually called off. The team was also without its head coach more recently on Jan. 9 against Northwestern. Chris Holtmann tested positive for Covid-19, and was forced to watch the game from isolation.

That’s just one of the canceled games accounted for. The Buckeyes apparently tried to reschedule another makeup game, but there just wasn’t a good time to do so according to Griffin Strom of Eleven Warriors.

No. 16 Ohio State’s next games before IUPUI will be at No. 13 Wisconsin on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET, and home against Penn State on Sunday at 12 p.m. ET. You can watch all 3 of these games on the Big Ten Network.
