The second ranked player out of Indiana is headed to Columbus.
On Thursday, the Buckeyes picked up a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Josh Fryar, who is listed as the No. 2 player in the state of Indiana by 247Sports Composite rankings. The native of Beech Grove was the second player to commit to Ohio State on Independence Day.
“I would like to announce that I am committing to THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY,” Fryar wrote on Twitter.

A 6-foot-5, 300-pound guard, Fryar brings a good frame to Ohio State’s offensive line. He is the fifth offensive lineman in 2020 to verbally commit to the Buckeyes and is the 19th player in class.
In addition to being one of Indiana’s top prospects, Fryar is the eighth-ranked offensive guard and sits just outside the top 400 recruits in the 2020 cycle. He’ll be a great addition to Ryan Day’s class.
Ohio State still sits at No. 4 in the national rankings and No. 1 in the B1G. Earlier in the day, the Buckeyes landed a commitment from three-star athlete Cameron Martinez out of Michigan.
