Ohio State released a statement late Sunday night updating the timeline into investigation of head coach Urban Meyer.

Jo Ann Davidson, the former Ohio House Speaker, is serving as the chair of the working group. She’s the former chairwoman of the US Securities and Exchange and a former federal prosecutor.

“Ohio State is committed to a thorough and complete investigation,” said Jo Ann Davidson. “We look forward to sharing the results of this investigation and any action the university may take.”

Among the notable points, the release stated that the investigation is expected to be completed within two weeks. Also, the action that will be taken will be decided by the president of the university in consultation with the Board of Trustees.

Prior to the investigation, Meyer was placed on paid administrative leave to find out what he did/didn’t know and did/didn’t do about the 2015 domestic abuse allegations into former assistant Zach Smith.
