With only two years of experience as a WRs coach, one might think that other schools’ interest in Hartline wouldn’t be too high. Well, think again. Hartline has experience playing, coaching and has proven to be a key reason why Ohio State is not only getting elite receivers to play there, but to perform while in scarlet and gray as well.

Here’s Hartline on the potential of leaving Columbus:

“I have a strong passion for Ohio State,” Hartline said in a Wednesday press conference. “I don’t know what would get me out of the city, frankly, unless I’m just not good (…) I don’t see a situation where I’m out of here any time soon.”

It sounds like Hartline’s sticking around at Ohio State for now. How long? His mind seems set.

But, we’ve seen coaches say this before. When or if a dream job comes calling, that can all change.

For now, though, he’s staying in Columbus for the foreseeable future.
